I don't think any of us ever thought this day would ever come, but it did. We made it!!! Tommy made it through 3 1/2 years of cancer treatments with flying colors. We couldn't be more proud of our little boy, who isn't so little anymore. He is forever our hero, our warrior, our little champ!

Tommy on his last day of treatments. This is where it all began...

Tommy's grown so much in the last 3 years!

Here's some of the nurses and doctors singing their "Happy last day of treatment" song.
Tommy got spoiled by the amazing staff of PCMC! Thank you again!

Tommy a little nervous about his surgery...

No more port! Woot Woot!!
Tom and I brought Tommy up to PCMC for his last treatment, his last dose of chemo, his last backpoke, and his surgery to remove his port. What a day!! Tommy has grown up so much since we began all of this, he was just a little 4 1/2 year old boy, who luckily didn't know what we were about to experience. He was so happy to have this all over. No more pills, no more backpokes, no more chemo to make him sick and give him yucky mouth sores, and especially no more STEROIDS!! ( I might be the happiest about this one).

We celebrated with so many supportive family members, so many wonderful friends, and teachers, doctors and nurses. Thank you ALL for all you have continue to do throughout this ordeal. Wow!! I am still overwhelmed with the love and support this little boy has, and our family. We can't ever thank you enough! Tommy keeps saying that was the best night of his life.

I can't thank my Heavenly Father enough for watching over my little boys body, making it strong enough to endure all of this for the past few years, and especially for making his body healthy again. It is so true what they say about trials, they are so hard to get through while you're in the thick of it, but when you look back you are SO grateful for the opportunity to be given that trial. My faith has never been stronger. I have watched my family go through so many hard times the last few years, and there was nothing more important than getting Tommy through this and staying together as a family. I had a good friend tell me, in the beginning of this, that I would someday look back and be grateful for this, and I thought she was nuts, but I absolutely am so grateful for it, and I wouldn't have changed a thing. I couldn't have gotten through this without the support of my amazing husband. He has been a rock in my life.

Thank you ALL! We love you Tommy.
